Stu Maddux is a freelance writer, editor and cinematographer with international credits who has become a multi-award winning producer and director of non-fiction films and television. He is a captivating speaker and a “have-camera-will-travel” kind of guy whose most recent film, “Gen Silent,” documents the lives of elderly LGBT people who go back into the closet to survive in the healthcare system. His work has been televised internationally and has screened at more than 40 film festivals, winning top honors at a handful. Prior to independent filmmaking, Stu was a supervising producer for national networks including NBC, VH1 and TLC. Prior to that, he was an Emmy Award winning television reporter/ anchor. He lives in San Francisco. |
GCEF Annual Meeting with special guest

Come to our annual meeting with guest speaker Stu Maddux, whose most recent film Gen Silent has been called "one of the most important LGBT documentaries ever made." In addition, we'll celebrate the successes of the past year and our latest round of grant awards. Hors D'oeuvres and Bar at 2pm, Program at 3pm, Dessert, Meet and Greet at 4pm.Your ticket includes 2 drink tickets, catering by Moe's, and gallery admission. Free parking in the High Street deck across from the museum's main entrance. Seating is limited. Please rsvp early.
